Meet the Clinician:
Kristen Thomas, MSW, LCSW
“Every person is valuable- not because of status or societal contribution- just because they are.”
Kristen Thomas, MSW, LCSW is a Florida-licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of experience in social services and 5 years of clinical practice supporting individuals across a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. She earned her Master of Social Work from Florida State University and is passionate about helping people build meaningful change through connection, collaboration, and empowerment.
Kristen believes that every person is inherently valuable and deserving of accessible, compassionate support. Her approach is flexible and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether you are looking for a structured, goal-oriented experience that includes education and practical tools, or simply a safe, affirming space to process life’s challenges, Kristen strives to meet you where you are.
She has experience working with both youth and adults navigating anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, grief and loss, emotional regulation challenges, social skills development, identity exploration, acceptance, and the unique experiences of neurodivergent individuals. Her goal is to create a supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward the life they want to build.
Outside of her clinical work, Kristen enjoys traveling, learning new things, exploring creative projects, and unwinding with great TV shows and movies. She values curiosity, authenticity, and lifelong growth—qualities she brings into her work with clients every day.
